Training For Certified Property Inspectors Ended In Accra Today

The real estate sector in Ghana can now boast of some privately trained, certified professional building inspectors who are ready to provide quality assurance for property owners and tenants.

Some individuals who had aspirations of becoming Certified Professional Building Inspectors in Ghana had their dreams come true after participating in a five-day intensive training which began on Monday February 21, 2022. and ended in Accra today.

EJ Allen, an internationally certified home inspector, founder, and Chief Executive Officer of Building Inspectors of Ghana (BIG), organized the training and touting the role of property inspectors in the building industry as critical. 

According to Allen, the role of professional building inspectors is critical to the success of the country’s real estate industry; hence, the need to equip trainees with all the professional techniques, that hinge on international best practices and professional ethics in property inspection.

Building Inspectors of Ghana (BIG) is the first private firm, providing thorough building inspection services on both commercial and residential properties in Ghana. The company also serves the real estate sector with construction project management, fumigation services, etc.

Some of the trainees who shared their experiences with RET Africa News, praised organizers for the systematic approach adopted to the training. 

They also expressed delight in the massive job potential that awaits them after their training and encouraged organizers to continue with the training for more people in the industry.
