The Rental Housing Association of Ghana (RHA), an umbrella body for rental housing professionals with the mission to enhance and protect the rental housing industry, by serving as a trusted resource for all stakeholders, has been launched in Accra.
The launch which attracted stakeholders in the real estate industry, and professionals of both local and international repute also saw the inauguration of the governing board of the association.
In her address, the co-founder and board chair of the Rental Housing Association of Ghana, Natasha Osei Antwi reiterated the mission and vision of the association and encouraged professionals in the industry to embrace the organization to expand their knowledge, for the greater good of the real estate industry in Ghana.
‘’the mission and vision of the association is to bring all rentals housing professionals together to help aid and stabilize the industry, we want to rebirth the rental housing professionals though we understand that there are people who hold the belief that they are rental housing professionals that’s ok, when they become members of the association they will find out sooner or later that there is more to be learnt’’
Regina Christian Koomsom co-founder of the association was sworn in as the first President of the association, with Natasha Osei Antwi (co-Founder) as the first board Chairperson. The swearing-in included Solomon Mai General Secretary and Richmond Osei Antwi as the association’s treasurer.
Other board members include Aurelia Peart, Emma Markin Jean, and Elbert Allen.
Emmanuel Kporsu, the public relations officer of the Rent Control Department and two others are present on the board in an advisory capacity.
